The car shown above was recently acquired by me, it is mechanically sound and has  travelled 82,000 miles. The car has had only two owners (the second only storing the vehicle for several years) and was last registered for road use in 1964.

The following information has been obtained:-

The 1939 Hillman 14 was released in two models - Safety Saloon and a Deluxe Saloon. The difference between the two vehicles was the level of equipment and colours. The Safety Saloon was available in four colour combinations while the Deluxe Saloon was in six as detailed below:-
